This was not what I expected! I thought this was a pop group (first time hearing this band) but I had to eat my hat because this band defies genre. The vocalist reminds me a little of kpop (and maybe 2010 Sleigh Bells if that makes sense), I happen to like both so thought that was cool. If you are a fan of complex piano layers and brass check this out! Also, the bassist and drummer are insane in here. I choked hearing one of the riffs it was that good!

Why do I love this album? I really think Genevieve Artadi is an under-appreciated genius of a songwriter. Also, the painstaking layering of the vocals is truly impressive. And the performances of the other musicians are amazing, too. I guess I love everything about this album, pretty much. (Other than maybe it makes me feel bad as a musician.)
